Frameworks
The main public sector building route across the south is the Southern Construction Framework, run by Hampshire and Devon county councils. The current framework, worth up to £4.5bn, has regional lots for the South East, the South West and London. Its successor, expected to be worth more than £5.4bn, is being tendered in 2026 to replace it when it ends in May 2027. In London and the Home Counties, the London Construction Programme runs separate frameworks (see London).
